The Vision Behind the Peace Begins at Home Summit
Introducing Dr. Riane Eisler’s groundbreaking work — and the global movement it has inspired.
Meet Dr. Riane Eisler
Dr. Riane Eisler is a systems scientist, futurist, attorney, and internationally acclaimed author whose life’s work has illuminated the links between family violence, societal injustice, and war. A Holocaust survivor, she draws from personal experience and deep research to show that lasting peace begins at home. Her groundbreaking work offers a clear path forward: by shifting from domination to partnership in every area of life — starting in our homes.
She is best known for the Partnership vs. Domination framework, which challenges traditional power structures and reimagines how we build more just, caring, and sustainable societies. Her bestselling book, The Chalice and the Blade, has been translated into 25+ languages and hailed as one of the most important works on cultural transformation. Her other books include Nurturing Our Humanity, The Real Wealth of Nations, and Sacred Pleasure — each showing how partnership systems can reshape our lives and our world.
As President of the Center for Partnership Systems, Dr. Eisler has advised the United Nations, the U.S. Department of Education, the European Union, and other
global institutions.

Why Now?
Today, as the world faces rising conflict, polarization, and environmental destruction, the need to address the root causes of violence has never been more urgent. The Peace Begins at Home Summit responds to this moment by bringing together global voices — peacebuilders, educators, survivors, policymakers, and cultural leaders — from across disciplines and continents.
Together, we will explore how systems of harm begin at home and ripple outward — and how we can co-create new pathways rooted in care, equity, and partnership. This is not a single theory or perspective — it’s a global conversation designed to generate real insight and real change.
