The Peace Begins at Home Summit is a one-day global virtual event on 29 October 2025,
produced by the Center for Partnership Systems. Inspired by Dr. Riane Eisler’s work, it brings together global leaders and changemakers, to explore how early patterns of domination shape our world — and how shifting to partnership can build lasting peace. Insights will feed into a post-summit Peace Begins at Home Handbook, shared globally to drive impact beyond the event.
Join us as we reimagine peace from the inside out.

Why this Summit matters

According to UNICEF, 1.6 billion (2 out of 3) children* around the world regularly experience violence by caregivers in their homes.
We know violence has many roots: in systems of oppression, conflict, and inequality. But it also begins in the everyday - in the relationships and environments we grow up in.
When children are exposed to harm without care or support, the impacts can echo across their lives and into society at large.
This summit matters because true peace isn’t only about ending war - it’s about reshaping the conditions that allow violence to take hold in any form. It begins with partnership — starting at home.

Rooted in Legacy

At the foundation of the summit is the groundbreaking work of
Dr. Riane Eisler - now in her 90s - a cultural historian and systems scientist whose research has shaped education, policy, and practice worldwide.
Her Partnership vs. Domination framework reveals how early relational patterns influence the broader structures of society - from economies to governments - and offers a clear, evidence-based roadmap for transformation.
Building on her legacy, this event brings together some of today’s leading voices to examine practical ways to shift from domination to partnership in every sphere of life.

“We cannot have LASTING PEACE without addressing violence in the home.”
